What is your favorite sandwich you prepare for yourself at home?

What is your favorite sandwich you order when you are out?

"Sonny, true love is the greatest thing, in the world-except for a nice MLT - mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe"

All kidding aside: I love a good BLT out or at home. Old Neighborhood Grill in Fort Worth makes the best.

At home - Roast Beef & Extra Sharp Provolone with just mayo. Has to be with Boar's Head meats though.

At a restaurant - Double Italian on an Italian roll through the garden at Jersey's Joes in Dallas north of Beltline & Tollway on the east side access road. In this area, they are one of the few that know how to make a real sub like you get on the East Coast because they came from there.

Other option is the Cheesesteak sandwich at Fred's Downtown Philly in Plano on 15th Street. He is actually from Philly and has NOT ever cleaned his grill. If you want to know what a real cheesesteak sandwich is like, DONT go to Texadelphia, come to Freds.

Lastly, the pastrami sandwiches at Carshon's Deli in Fort Worth. A Jewish Deli in the Hood. Bring cash, they dont take plastic.

Mutton!!!??? Patr - you have got to be kidding!

Too many favorites to tell here - but a good BLT with fresh ripe tomatoes and good crisp bacon is a great one, also grilled cheese & ham with tomatoe soup (great comfort food.

As for away from hom, you cannot go wrong with a nice juicy burger with all the fixing's, unless it is a "Rebecca" from Carshon's Deli.

As your illustration shows -at home PBJ. In the field - Turkey, Chicken or Cold Cut combo! If aburger is a sandwich, about once a month a good burger!

I created my own. First i toast two pieces of honey wheat berry. Then, I spread on mustard. Then, I add one piece of sliced cheddar cheese, and sliced ham. Then, I add lettuce, and tomatoes. The secret ingredient is garlic powder!!!!!! it works so well, and I only sprinkle on a little. To top it of, add a little blue cheese dressing on he side.
To go out, I would any day choose phillipe's
