No plans. Seems as if summer vacation will pass me up this year. I work a 215 day contract year as opposed to "regular" teachers who work 187. We started the year late, so our year does not end until 6/26. In addition, because of more students, we're all having to put in longer days. I'm working from 7 to 4 or 5 most days. I'm fried. This weekend I will give the ACT and then sleep.
Plans are to get the Automatic Transmission fixed in the 2004 Ford Explorer. Turns out the Series 55 transmission is one of the worst ever made. Went in at 5,500 and 12,500 for the same issue. Now at 35K, it's doing the same thing again. I have NO FAITH in Ford, and will not buy American again, and I've been through all 3, Ford, Chevy and Dodge. I've found an independent mechanic that will give me staright answers instead of the denialist crap from Ford!
Well, we were in Maine last week and now we are home in the HEAT of Texas. I have a cold so it is a Snotty time for me. (EEEEUUUU GROSSS sorry)
Plans for this weekend is to lay low and stay cool.
