Of course we always miss you and Tom. Summer has been pretty good so far except for the extreme heat that has been burning up plants in our yard. Have a bunch of juniper to replace along with a holly. We enjoyed the Olympics immensely. My sister, her husband and kids just landed last night from China after 47 days in the country. Barry is exhausted, as the Lead Technical Director for Primetime coverage he and his time worked 17-18 hour days almost non-stop. But they had an overwhelming experience living there for nearly 2 months. Ups and downs certainly but overall an amazing experience.

Of course you're missed...silly goil! Nice to see you back!

Summer is still in full force here in NorCal, will be awhile longer. Some of the mysteries of the last 10 months have been solved...so I'm on the road back to good health.

Each day is something newish, at least we can plan ahead again. We treated ourselves to a new LCD 52" wall mounted TV, in time for the Olympics...best of all for FOOTBALL SEASON....yup ready for some Sunday cheering and wins!

I have missed this part of you! I haven't missed you because of Friday nights...

Life? Summer is over for me except for the heat!!! I'm back at school trying to adjust to earlier hours, but I'll live. Right now, I'm dealing with car issues...repairs. Do I hear a new vehicle calling?

Of course you are missed, both on the blog and in person :)

The summer has been great! Spent a week in Disneyworld with the kids, did some long-awaited home improvements (with more to come) and lost 25 pounds. WOO HOO

I'm totally ready for Fall now...I need cooler temps!

YES!

Summer has been hot, but okay. PEF has traveled a bit too much for work, but I have survived.

Been to a wedding of a sweet girl that I have watched grow into a beautiful woman/mother.

I have watched as the housing starts have slowed and as a result created heartache at work.

The 'cheese' has been moved several times.

So, what is in the future: Vacation in October. Working on PEF's train room and gearing up for the Holiday's.

I'm so glad the QoD is here today.

Oh, I do have a book recommendation (I know not today's question) but wanted to post it anyway.

Duma Key by Stephen King....
