Not doing much. Cards for everyone in the family. Going to work out, regular dinner.
No - card at most. Yeah let us give thanks to Hallmark for making nonsensical days out of religious holidays, today is SAINT Valentines day. Go look her up in wikipedia. We say SAINT Patricks day don't we.
I sort of feel it's just another day for Hallmark to capitalize on selling special cards. I think it's much nicer to have several "Just 'Cause I Love You" Days throughout the year. My hubby and I decided to to this starting last year so we just wished each other a Happy Valentine's Day today. But my 17 yr. old daughter was feeling a bit low because she doesn't have a steady boyfriend so I did get her some special little things and it made her day!

I try to let my loved ones (especially my wife) know how I feel about them on a regular basis (once in a blue moon), so Valentine's Day is nothing special.
My dad always hand draws me a special, very corny valentine's day card that I usually get sometime in August or September...(either he's really late or really early!)

We're taking the day off to stroll on the beach together..
No fancy gifts,no fancy dinner....just time to stop and smell the coffee.
That's our mutual gift to each other..
I think Valentines Day is a fun way to show the people you care about that you love them. I have work tonight and my boyfriend has a night class so we celebrated on Saturday and he took me out to eat at Red Lobster. :)
I am really glad to see that I agree with most of you ... it is a made-up holiday to sell cards and flowers and jewelry ...
We didn't do much at all this year ... we try to make love felt throughout each day and all year ...
