Hey Caroline, I do that. It doesn't bother me, but I think the person would like to feel put-together, so I do tuck it in for them...especially if he's hot!
Okay ... This absolutely freaks me out!!! I will tuck it in no matter if they are male or female, cute or ugly, old or young ...
And it drives me even MORE crazy to see a man or a woman with their tag sticking up ... and they are there with a spouse!! Why doesn't their SPOUSE fix it for them?? Do they want them to look silly?? Now that is the one time I won't fix it ... if it is a guy with the tag sticking out and his wife is there ... I don't need a cat fight over that ...

I calmly walked up the person and told them and then asked if they wanted it tucked in. Otherwise I'd be afraid of frightening them.
On the polar view. I appreciate when someone lets me know and tucks it back for me!

This is a very silly thing to get in an uproar over.
Why not just say - "the tag for your shirt/blouse/dress/whatever is sticking out" - and leave it at that?
Is this a woman thing to get all excited about tag sticking out?
I can't say that it "bothers" me, but if it were me, I'd appreciate someone tucking it in for me or at the very least, letting me know it was sticking out. However, I did this once for one of JB's friends while we were out somewhere and he thanked me and promptly pulled it back out. I asked him if it was the "in" thing to have it out and he said it was in some circles but in his case, the tag just annoyed him and caused his neck to itch. I told him my hubby had a pair of scissors on his key chain "thingee" if he wanted it removed and he said, "Yes, PLEASE!" LOL
I got my internet back! Yeah!!!! It's been down all morning while Comcast was here working on my cable T.V. which is also now fixed!

Bronco, it's not an uproar. It's just that there is something tacky about having tags hanging out, remember Minnie Pearle? I was so impressed the first time I saw her out of character. What an attractive and well polished woman she was! I am often mortified when my tags hang out. I don't want anyone to know what size I wear! I appreciate anyone who will tuck mine in. Cin does that for me on any occasion when it happens to me. I appreciate her.

Haven't given this one too much thought to be honest. I just try to make sure I am put together. Gig Line is straight and all. Probably only Gumdrop will know what that is.
