snow? what's snow?
as a native central texan, i have no concept of snow. i wore silk longjohns for the first two winters i lived in Nashville...
give me sun and give me heat!
I love snow and cold!!! Of cours, I live in Texas where it never snows and only gets sort of cold.
Go figure.
I can live without snow. Used to live where the weather is cold and it snowed from late November to late March. Loved it then; hate it now. The warmer the weather, the better I like it.
I like snow when it snows in places where they are used to dealing with it. When it snows here in Texas ... I want me and my family to be safe at home because people go crazy here.
I have a screen saver which shows snow piling up on a winter cottage scene ... it is pretty, with birds and rabbits and Chrstmas lights ... I can pretend that is my cottage ...

Yes i live in a place where it snows a lot! And it gets ice and snow on top of that and that freezes and then more snow and ice and snow...you get the picture! My idea of a perfect winter would be: It begind to snow lightly on Christmas Eve. The grass is blanketed by the time the little ones go to bed and everyone is home safely. When you wake up in the morning, it's a "Winter Wonderland". Everyone gets to go, "Oooo!" and "Ahhhh!" But then the temperature starts to rise and by the time anyone has to go out and drive, it's up to at least 45 and it's melted! And just to prove I'm not a miserable person, the kids should have 1 snowday off from school to go sledding! That's it! LOL Then it should be nice and warm and pleasant! I guess I should go back to my padded cell now now! LOL
