Question #135

Question #14 from "The Book of Questions" by Gregory Stock, PH.D ...

Would you rather be extremely successful professionally and have a tolerable yet unexciting private life, OR have an extremely happy private life and only a tolerable and uninspiring professional life?

Please play FAIR (Bronco) and don't pick the best of both ... that's NOT the question!!

What makes you think I would pick the best of both worlds - I now have the best of both worlds, so why would I want anything less?

If I HAD TO Choose ... which is what the question asks ...

I would choose the Happy and Satisfying private life.

I am working on having both a great career along with my happy private life ...

But if my great career begins the threaten the happiness of my private life ... well ... I would give up the career ..

I too would pick a happy private life. If one has that, one can make the best of any other part of life.

well, sometimes you just want what you don't have, so I would like to see what it is like to have an extrmemely successful buziness life and nothing but boredom to come home to. It would probably suck, but oh well.

well you can't take the job with you, no matter how successful you are. what matters to me is the relationships i build and the positive impact i can have on those in my life (and vice versa!)...i choose an exciting and passionate private life...and wow...was it worth waiting for!

AT 80 IT IS TOO LATE FOR QUESTIONS
LIKE THAT. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE
LESS SORE JOINTS/MUSCLES. CORTISONE
SHOTS IN THE JOINTS WORKS PRETTY GOOD, GOT MY HANDICAPPER CARD FOR
THE CAR NOW I CAN LEGALLY PARK BY THE DOOR.

Of course, the extremely happy private life and only a tolerable and uninspiring professional life.

I do believe with the first the second is sure to follow.
