Oh hard one. Hmmm... I just don't know. Hmmm... Ocean, ya, ocean.
I want to be at a clean warm ocean. Now, I love Grand Caymen but I don't want to LIVE there. Maybe Carpenteria, California. Bur really, I need to explore more before I could say.
When I was single, I had planned to move to the Texas Coast, buy a little house (one br) and retire there. I do love Port Aransas, but now that I'm married to a man who melts in the heat, I'm not sure. I'm thinking that the coast of Maine is closer to where I may look.
Ocean. definitely. any one will do.
If not that, a medium size river - maybe the Blue river in Colorado
AN EASY,WEASIE.......A LAKE IN
WISCONSIN, DOWN A DEAD-END ROAD WITH A COFFEE SHOP AND A GROCERY
STORE AT THE OTHER END. NOT TO
BIG A LAKE [NO REALLY ROUGH WATER
OR STORMS] THERE IS A JILLION OF THEM UP THERE. WINTERIZE THE CABIN AND LIVE THERE YEAR AROUND AWAY
FROM ALL THE "STUFF".
I prefer Lake but Jarrod would say Ocean, so he would probably win. We have always talked about moving to Galveston someday. We fantasize about it every year when we are out there. Everyone seems to think we are nuts for wanting to live in such a place, but the two of us understand and agree. My grandparents used to have a place at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. I always wanted to live there. I just had a good good feeling every time we were there and I thought what a peaceful life it would be there.
I'm thinking ocean .... but I am fond of rivers, too. I do want to be near moving water ... not a lake .... I want to hear the waves on the shore at night ... or hear the river run by ...
