I would ask that my father come back so that he could play with his great-grandchildren and spend some time with my daughter (who never met him).
I just wish I could spend one more lucid day with my maternal grandmother, Lilia.
Lilia died three years ago. She suffered for the last 10 years of her life with Alzheimer's. While the light of her gentle soul shone to the very end of her life, and she never forgot my mother (her daughter) or her son, she forgot her grandchildren. She mistook me for one of her sisters. I missed her wisdom and love as her granddaughter when her life began to unravel. I just wish for one more day with the Granny Lilly I remember from my teens.
I would have my Mom and Dad and Tom's Mom and Dad at our home.
I'd make sure all Tom brothers and their families and all my siblings ... including my brother David, who is also deceased ... and their families were all here ...
Grandkids everywhere .... card games and board games ... champagne .... lots of hugs and laughter ....
It would be a great 24 hours!
My parents of course - together.
I didn't have to think twice about this one. My Mom and Dad, and Steve's Mom and Dad.My Mom never got to see either one of my children and my brothers produced a few after her death. My Father In Law passed away before seeing Steve's brother's 2 children and both of mine were pretty young. Yes! I'd have them back and the whole family would here, preferably in warmer weather so we could have it outside! LOL The kids could swim, and we'd throw some steaks on the grill and talk the night away! I'd ask them so many questions about their lives past and "present". I'd remember to get those "secret" ingredients from my Mom's special recipies.I'd take a million pictures and videos. But most of all, I'd be able to tell them one more time,Thank You, and I LOVE YOU!
MY TWIN BROTHER WHO LEFT AT 13,AND
MY #1 SON WHO LEFT AT 20.
WE WOULD JUST SIT AND JABBER ABOUT
EVERYTHING, 'TILL OUR TIME WAS UP
AGAIN.
This one is easy. It would be my husband. I'd have him come back and spend the day with our children and grandchildren. He never got to meet the grandchildren and I know he'd adore them and they would adore him. It would be so much fun to watch them together.
