I think I would make it so that EVERBODY finds a $20 bill in their pocket.
You know the feeling you get when you reach in the pocket of a coat you haven't worn in awhile ... and there's money in there!!
Or when you squirrel away some bills in your purse or wallet and forget you hid them and find them months later?
I wish that feeling on everyone ... for just one day ...
I would make all my loved ones HEALTHY! Take away all aches and pains and all need for medications.
This is like the supernatural powers question.
I would take away fear.
Fear of differences among people.
Fear that creates violence and separation among God's people (that would be all of us).
Fear is not Love.
And Love is the way.
Can you tell the bombings got to me?
Inject love and acceptance for all mankind into the hearts and souls of every person living on this earth......
Do you even have to ask? LOL. I have the gift of magic for a whole day so I'm assuming I can do all sorts of magic as long as I can get it done in a days time.
1st thing I'd zap the mayor and at least 2 of the city council members brains so that they couldn't remember how to get to City or that they were even supposed to ever go to City Hall. Then I'd fill my big walk-in closet with money (big bills) so I could just reach in there and get some when I needed it to use for myself or whoever else I felt was in need of it. Then I would zap all the terrorist off the face of the earth. I'd make my house shiney clean and my cats all perfectly groomed and myself perfectly groomed while I was at it. Then I'd just spend the rest of the day looking for those that I thought needed some of their own magic and do magic for them.
I would do my best to get rid of as much evil as I could..

I"d zap away about 30 lbs! Ooh, ooh, and make my 8 month old take a REAL nap!
Oh...that's so easy. I would wave my magic wand and sprinkle magic dust over my dogs...just think about the interesting insight I could gain from their little puppy brains?!!! We would set a few things straight (no more digging in the yard!) and they could tell me their favorite treats and how much they hate baths!

Judy .... have you tried the South Beach Diet? The diet is okay .... but the friendships I have made on the message boards are even better!!!
Since I still have the magic, I would make me and all my SBD friends suddenly attain our Goal Weights ... and be able to maintain that weight for life!!
I would wave my magic wand over the Earth and create World Peace that would last forever.
i would make sure that everyone is loved.
i make it so everyone switched places with their worst enemy or the people they feel the most distanced from so they would truly be walking a mile (or more) in each other's shoes. hopefully by the end of the day, everyone would be able to understand the viewpoints of the "other side" and there would be a chance at true peace
I would make sure that every child in this world had good clean water, plenty of food, clothes and shoes. A loving home and a chance for an excellent education.
I would really like to have that magic.

What a huge responsibility. I was reading all of these GREAT answers and was thinking that I would probably mess up the natural order of things. So I'd probably just magically make our cats quit peeing and maybe have more wisdom.
