I would vote for him just because his name is Kinky. After all, no matter what scandal comes out of his administration, you can just say, "hey, that's Kinky".
Sadly, I am NOT going to vote for a governor this time round. I don't like any of my choices.
I plan to vote for the best candidate. Considering what is going on in Congress these days, someone named Kinky as a candidate seems the best choice. PEF has it right.
Heck Ya! He isn't a career politician who hsa been so bought by the powers that wanna-be too the point where something might get done. The issue of career politicians is that they get into office and then through being bought via political action comittess sponsored by corporate interests (read TXU) they screw things up. However they so cleverly disguise that fact such that the standard citizen can't or won't pick-up on it unless they have the time to devote to being a 'watch dog'. Therefore I see governement as a lackluster self-perpetuating monster that will bolster and brag about the 5% that is positive to divert attention away from the 95% that is screwed up beyond all repair. Being a career politician molds you into this process of substandard complacency. Enter a politico wanna-be that is not beholden to the large corporate interests and isn't bought will highlight the dirty laundry that our state government is and maybe peak a couple of citizens ears enough to demand fiscal and moral responsibility of our elected officials.
Pac Elec, I love it! LOL
I figure he's got to be better than the one we have here in WA State...she got voted in by Dead People in Seattle.
Definitely. I'm registered and ready for the polls to open! Kinky may not be the most savy of politicians, but he's sincere about his love of Texas and his desire to do his best for US, which is more than I can say for the incumbant or the grandma (I have loathed that woman since she was on the school board in Austin!--she's not what she seems).
HUGH YA BETTER EASE UP ON THE WASH.
POLITICAL HACKS. BRONCO SAID AWHILE
BACK BUSH COULD DO NO WRONG.
CINDY DID YOU GET THE PICS OF THE
AIR CORPS "BONEYARD"???????
The debate was not a great political discourse, but it was moderately decent as reality TV and scored better than average as a game show.
High-Lights:
Kinky couldn't name any black people on his campaign staff except "Frank from Atlanta" who will be joining the Kinky campaign shortly.
Strayhorn couldn't name the president of Mexico.
Bell knows the Battle of the Alamo was fought in 1836.
Kinky wants to declare martial law in the border counties.
Strayhorn doesn't know how long welfare recipients get benefits.
Perry is OK with selling out Texas to a Spanish toll road company so long as the bribes are all fully disclosed.
Kinky thinks the internet is the work of Satan.
