Question #462

If someone came to visit you from out of state ... and they left you totally in charge of planning the activities for the week .... where would you take them in your area ??

Assume you also have time off and will be spending it with them. Also assume no children under 21.

I luff that pic of Dallas!

I would take visitors out on the boat.. we have a little 24 ft boat.. across the lake to Sneaky Pete's. Wanna come?

I would take them to see Dallas of course. Where does my area end? ...I love Austin too.

Ditto to PATR - I would also take them:
- McKinney Avenue Area of Dallas to ride the trolley
- Ride through Highland Park - see how the other half lives
- Knox-Henderson area
- Old Town Grapevine & the Tarantula Train
- Drive from Ft. Worth to Dallas on Division Street to see all the old roadside businesses and neon dating back to the 50s.
- Keller's Drive-in for hamburgers and beer
- Petrified Wood Station and Restaurant in Decatur
- Ft. Worth Zoo
- Amon Carter Museum to see the historic photo collection
- Joe T. Garcias for the only two things you can get there - Mexican Dinner or Fajitas
- Granbury to the Brazos Drive-in Theatre - Double Feature at the DRIVE-IN HECK YEAH!
