I have never been much of a "team player". In sports, I was always so afraid that I would let my team down ... be the 3rd out in the 9th inning ... or miss the 3-pointer at the buzzer ... and those fears kept me from trying in the first place!!

I am older now ... and wiser ... and much more willing to lose, but learn and keep on trying. I can laugh at myself more easily now, too.

Back when I was younger, I would have said individual champion ... like a Gold Medalist in Swimming.

Now ... I think it would be great to share the comeraderie(sp?) of a championship team. Have people to celebrate with! I don't know what sport, though ... I'll have to think about that one ....

I've never been one to rely too much on others, and in the last few years I've tried to improve and strengthen who I am through what some would call a personal journey. I'd have to say that a great reward after becoming the "top" of anything would be to know that you did it on your own. As for the sport, I have respect for Lance Armstrong for overcoming what he has and enjoy cycling...so let's go with that.

I've never been one for team sports. I use to think I wasn't comptetitive, but now I think I was so competitive, I just couldn't stand the thought of losing, so I just never did try.

I think excelling at what you do best must be a scintillating feeling whether it be as part of a team or individually..
What would be my choice???........my personality prolley motivates me to try harder for other people than for myself alone......and the team celebration would be fabulous.LOL!!

Hmmmm.....(Always thought provoking! LOL) I love watching Team Sports (Football, Baseball) and adore watching my son compete in Judo. Now Judo, is a individual sport when you're on the mat. No one is there with you backing you up. It's you and the other guy/girl. However, when it comes time for the World's or the Olympics, you ARE part of a Team, per se, so you have The Best of Both Worlds!

i think i would rather be on a on a winning team than by myself, that way when you have a bad spell there are people there to help you out.
