If you could go back to age 16 and live those years over again, would you do it?
Assume you are allowed to keep the wisdom you have gained over the years ... but not the knowledge of World Series winners nor lottery numbers nor investment knowledge ... etc.

Yes, I would go back. I did something that were due to teenage stupidity that I would not do the same way.
However, I would want essentially the same outcome of my life to date. I have a great deal to cherish right now, and if I lived my ilfe over again, I might not end up in the same place as now.
I think I would go back and change a lot of things if I had the knowledge and wisdom of now.
I would have been kinder to my family members and not such a brattish wild teenager. We were small town terrors.
I would have taken more interest in my education at that time. It was too easy for me and I just messed around and messed up but still made good grades.
I did not take my education seriously until later when I decided to return to College and set my goals.
I just had a lot of growing up to do. Most of us did.
This is funny! I've always said I would never want to relive my teenage years UNLESS I could go back with the wisdom I have gained since. A lot of needless pain and stupid self-esteem issues would be gone. But like Bronco, I would "essentially" want the same outcome of my life to date. I just never would have gone on that camping trip in Elk Neck State Park in Maryland in 1992! LOL
p.s. I can't imagine Bev being brattish or wild! ;~)
I'D DO THAT SO FAST YOU'D THINK IT WAS YESTERDAY. I WASTED MORE OPPORTUNITIES THAN A LOT OF PEOPLE GET IN A LIFE TIME, BACK THERE IN THE TEENS AND TWENTIES. DON'T TAKE ME BACK THERE IT MADE AS MUCH SENSE

NO, I would not go back. To go back, even with the wisom of the years I've lived, would change who I am today. I would hate to think I would miss meeting and marrying the love of my life, my soul mate. I would not have the kids I have. Sure I could side-step the mistakes, I could avoid lots of pain, but I wouldn't be who I am. I tend to like her these days.

I probably would not do it. My teenage years were pretty miserable .... and even with the wisdom I have gained (which would be very valuable) ... without the medications I need, I would go back to being a depressed, unsure young woman.
I like myself much better now ... and a lot of that has to do with meds!
Having friends like you guys helps a lot, too!!
No, not even knowing what I know now. It's tempting because I would change a lot of things, including a marriage or two but then I wouldn't have my kids that I have now and who I am now would change, so no I wouldn't do it.
I think I would do it.
Although I don't live my life in regret, it would be intereting to see how my life turned out had I not commited some stupid mistakes I did.
