My family & I will be spending the day at Texas Stadium, in a luxury suite, cheering the Broncos to victory over the dastardly Cowboys.

I am thankful for the entirety of my life - my wonderful wife and son, my brothers and their families, my extended family of friends whereever they may be, my new career, and my wife's new career (at which she is doing splendidly - and 2006 looks amazing).

I probably will spend Thanksgiving Day in my Bubble. Sigh !!

I am so thankful for so many many things. First of all Jesus Christ by his Grace all things are possible. My wonderful husband, lovely family, great friends, beautiful Fewls, abundant life and undeniable freedom, wonderful sky, trees, birds, animals for my enjoyment... I could go on forever about the things I am thankful for.

Have a Great Thanksgiving everyone.

Go Broncos !!!!! Have a splendific time. I am jealous.

I will spending the holidays at my family home near Seattle. Although it's a scant crew for the actual food fest on "the day", it will be a weekend of family in and out of the house and off to a movie with my sis and nieces and new niece in law. It will be fun filled time of visiting old friends and spoiling my great nephews.

Here is what I wrote in my journal recently:

Gratitude for...
...frost on a blooming rose shining in the morning sun
....golden leaves falling, floating to the earth
....sun
....cute little dogs
....friends
....a chance to renew acquaintance and heal and forgive if necessary
...new babies
...health and recovery
...family

I will be spending the day with my parents, one brother, my daughter, her fiance, my grandchildren, and my aunt at my parents house. We will be having enough food for at least 50 people.

This will probably be our smallest family gathering ever. My other brother, his wife, and 2 kids will be missing as they didn't want to make the trip from New Hampshire where there permanent home is now. Also missing is my son and his girlfriend who are in Kentucky and couldn't afford the trip home, and my aunt's husband who died a few months ago. I have another aunt and uncle who sometimes join us but they are with her family this year. There are various other family memebers who are no longer with us (like my husband and grandmother) so this is a really small gathering compared to years past but I'm very grateful for those that will be there.

I have so many things to be grateful there is no way I could list them all here. In spite of all my griping, I really do have a lot of good things in my life.
