Question #113

Question #89 from "The Book of Questions" by Gregory Stock, PH.D.

Where would you choose to be if you could place yourself anywhere on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is hardship, struggle, and extraordinary accomplishment and 10 is comfort, peace of mind, and no accomplishment?

Why?

Where are you now?

I wwould choose about a 5 - make it reasonably hard with reasonable accomplishment.

I am at about a 7 now. I am comfortable, but I am struggling to get a new business up and running, so I am very lucky.

Right now, I'm about a 3.5. Life is a bit of a struggle, but the rewards will be great. I'd choose to be about a 7. I've had to struggle with a bad marriage, the death of a child, and other trauma. I'd like to get to a place where I can look back and say I've earned some peace

Square in the middle! To know true joy,and to experience the sense of accomplishment, one has to put some work behind it. To be handed everything on a silver platter may be comfortable, but I don't really think it will bring peace of mind, in the long run.

I think I'm at 6-7, depending on my mood! LOL
