Well....I'm an odd one to ask because I'm up very late! But because our son also has strange hours with his practice times, we usually don't have a problem with anyone calling up till 11:00pm or even midnight. And my friends know they can call me later as SH and my daughter close their doors and they hear nothing! LOL So, I'm usually still up! I figure if someone calls at 1:00am, 2am or even 3am, they need to talk and I'm glad to be there for them. And if, per chance, they did wake me, they just need to give me a minute to get awake enough to focus. Now, my hubby has a rule that no one should call before 9:00 or 10:00 am on a Saturday when he's sleeping in! LOL However, it shouldn't bother him, since he doesn't hear the phone and I always answer it anyway! LOL He's a strange duck, but I Love Him!
I do not make calls after 10 pm, unless it is an emergency. I do not like to get calls after 10 pm, as I always think there ids an emergency.
When the phone rings after 10, I answer it and if it is NOT an emergency, I let the caller know that calling at that late hour is not acceptable. If I have been asleep and the phone rings, I tend to be rather abrupt with the caller.
IT IS TOO LATE AFTER 7:00 PM. THAT IS WHEN THE GOOD STUFF COMES ON PBS,EXCEPT WHEN BOTH CHANNELS HAVE
THE NY SYMPATHY ON ABOUT ONCE A YEAR. THE THING TO DO IS START COUNTING THE NUMBER OF RINGS, BEFORE THEY GIVE UP.THE DAUGHTER AND TWO BROTHERS KNOW THIS SO THE DRILL IS TO CALL AGAIN RIGHT AWAY,
THAT'S HOW I KNOW IT'S THEM.I HAVE
NO ONE ELSE THAT WOULD BE CALLING
NOW THAT THEY OUTLAWED THE "SIDING
COMPANIES". ALL OTHER CALLS ARE
GRACIOUSLY IGNORED.
10:00 PM Most people I know are up until at least that time. I'm up waaaaaaaaay later than that myself though so it dosn't bother me to get later calls. If I get a call after I'm in bed I usually don't answer it because if I'm asleep I don't hear the phone ring.
Anytime the phone rings after 10:00 at night, I am worried that something BAD has happened ....
Robbie isn't driving yet ... but when he does ... and if he is gone ... and the phone rings late ... YIKES!
I understand if someone calls late at night and they need to talk ... the problem is that NOW they need to get through Tom to get to me ... and as per his post ... that ain't gonna be easy ... maybe I should move the phone to my side of the bed ...
I know this one. 9pm.
I won't be calling Bronco late.
