From: THE BOOK OF IF ... Questions for the Game of Life

If you could inherit a vacation home anywhere in the world in which you could spend as much time as you want ... but never sell ... where would it be?

Why?

Somewhere in Andaman or Nicobar Islands.

Mid-Coast Maine, possibly New Harbor or Rockport or Camden...I have wonderful memories from there and it is where I feel most at peace.

Actually it wouldn't be any one place. I want a big (very big) 5th wheel camper and the large truck to pull it. We want to travel around the country and be able to be where we want when we want. I also like the idea of have my own place to stay when we visit kids and grandkids.

I have no specific place - my wife and I would have to find it first - but I assume it would be on a coast somewhere - where the sounds of the sea and the shore are part of everyday life.

Back home in Florida along the Gulf Coast somewhere. Something about living by the ocean just lifts the stress away. It is a softer and slower lifestyle.

OVER IN WISCONSIN,SMALL LAKE WITH
NO SPEED BOATS,WATER SKING ETC.
JUST PEACE AND QUIET, BIRDS CHIRPING,GROUND SQUIRRLS SCAMPERING
ABOUT, ALL THAT GOOD STUFF IN LIFE.
JUST BEFORE THE SNOW GETS ITS CUSTOMARY 10 FEET DEEP, OVER THERE I'D SWISH DOWN TO FLORIDA AND WATCH
THAT TIDE GO IN AND OUT LIKE WE HAD LAST WEEK.
PROBABLY TAKE SOME SERIOUS TIME TO
GET OVER THIS MAD PACE I LIVE NOW.

I wouldn't want to buy a vacation home. I would want to buy a private jet and a pilot and be able to fly anywhere I wanted and see anyone I wanted or visit anyplace and come and go without worrying about plane fares and schedules. The world is such a big and beautiful place and I want to explore it all! But my "home" is right here and it's nice to always come back to it. I would however, like to do some renovations on this place. I'd like to raise the roof and make it the Master bedroom suite with a walk in closet, reading nook and large private bathroom, thereby turning our current bedroom into a den with French Doors that lead out to our deck; build a small gazebo in the back yard.....nothing big or elaborate....just a small little gazebo. I've always wanted one. LOL

It is very hard to answer. Texacalifornia?

I hate earthquakes but I love California, but it is soooo expensive there, did you say money was not object?

I love Texas, the big sky especially. I love the lakes. I love the people. I love my house. I love my pool the mostest.
I don't love the bugs. They bug me.

OK I see inherit. That's easy. California.

California is wonderful because the weather is great most of the time and no bugs flying around eating your skin.

3 posts that's enough about that.
