If this Saturday you could do absolutely anything you wanted, what would you do?

Take a trip into outer space! Short of that I'll take a trip into inner-space. It's a toss-up as to which will be the more exciting!

I would go the the mountains where it is cool, take a good book and my fishing pole - drop a line in a rushing mountain stream, sit under a tree and read. I don't care if I catch anything or not.

I would then go have a nice dinner with my lovely wife.

The reality is I will probably do yard work, then take a dip in the pool and enjoy an aafternoon in our backyard oasis - not a bad alternative at all.

hmmmmm....travel, whereever I wanted to go that day. If I woke feeling like I needed to see the exotic I would head to Burma, or Zanzibar. Or maybe Tuscany? Or perhaps Cannes to dine with the stars?

Or to TX, even if I did miss BJ's by one day!

1. Have breakfast at my favorite breakfast place - Deluca's Restaurant in Pittsburgh's Strip District.
2. Take a flight in a high performance jet fighter in mock aerial combat.
3. Clean up breakfast from the flight in the high performance jet fighter.
4. Have a cheesesteak sandwich lunch at both Geno's and Pat's in Philadelphia just so I could determine which has the best cheesesteak.
5. Go to Cass, West Virgina and be allowed to drive a Shay Steam Logging Locomotive with a train up to the top of Bald Knob (2nd highest peak in WV)with a brand new WHITE t-shirt on so that I can collect all of the coal cinders I can and then frame the shirt.
5. Then head west to San Francisco to have a late afternoon sail aboard an all wood sailing sloop on San Francisco Bay.
6. After the sail, rent a ridiculously expensive convertible sports car and drive down the Pacific Coast Highway as the sun sets and have dinner at the Tinnery overlooking Monterey Bay with my wife.

The best part about the day, my wife would participate with me in everything that day, except the flight. She wouldn't want to do that.

My house would be totally cleaned and my cats perfectly groomed, my yardwork all done and my deck nice and cleaned and I'd sit on my deck all day long and read and nap and listen to the creek run by.

I'm not sure...probably travel to a tropical island like Anquilla.Or go fishing with my hubby with a bottle of champagne and some OJ. But I would not be going to a wedding! sigh... Pacific Electric Fan....Pat's has the best cheesesteak, in my humble opinion! LOL

RH - well they are the original and it is hard to mess with the original. Of course I would enjoy both. Of course another Philly treat is the huge fresh-baked soft pretzels the vendors sell from huge sticks outside the ballparks on the street. Yummmmmm...

Go someplace pretty and cooler and read, do puzzles and be by MYSELF! Of course, I like Bronco's idea, also.

Wow! I'm already overwhelmed with all that my dear hubby & I will be doing! How many hours are there in this perfect day?

My perfect day would be with my husband and the beagles in New Harbor Maine... in the other cottages I would want all of our extended families and friends...then for dinner, we would gather at PEMAQUID POINT LIGHT and have a lobster cookout.

Hmmmmm ..... I would sleep as long as I want ... get up to coffee already made ... read the paper ... play online some ... put on my swimming suit .... got sit on the deck and alternate reading with floating in the pool .... all day .... meanwhile a well trained servant would bring me drinks and snacks and breakfast and lunch ... then I would go out to a nice dinner with my hubby!!

Hey! That is pretty much how I will spend Saturday ... except for the servant part ...
