1. Do not discuss politics in Church.
2. Do not discuss how screwed up Democrats are too Democrats. They lack objectivity
3. Do not discuss politics with fanatics
4. Do not discuss politics during an arguement with your wife/girlfriend.
5. Do not discuss politics in your sleep.
6. Do not discuss politics period as it is a waste of time since evry person who wishes to get elected is going to tell yu what you want to hear.
O.K. - that given, it is O.K. to discuss politics at the following.
1. Neigborhood associations
2. With your representative to pass on what you think he did right or wrong.
3. With your Senator to discuss what you think he/she did right or wrong.
4. Only if the other person indicates that it alright to do so as they might be prepared to hear what they don't want to hear.
I beleive it was Sir Francis Bacon who said that 'if all men went entirely mad, they might half way agree' - enough said?
Anywhere but this blog, only kidding. I believe it is always okay to talk about politics but then I never did follow convention. I am always reminded on election day that no matter the candidates or the political party, this great nation of ours endures with all its good points and bad and that the real gift our Founding Fathers gave us is a government that can not only endure the vagrancies of political extremes but a nation that flourishes despite the best attempts of any man or party (republican or democrat) to thwart it. So no matter your political beliefs or convictions, this too shall pass.
It is NEVER EVER okay to talk politics while on VACATION... As a matter of fact, I don't like talking politics anytime or anywhere. I vote and through that action, I am voicing my opinion where it counts.

IT IS OK EVEN ENCOURAGED TO TALK POLITICS AND ARGUE THE MERITS OF ONE
RELIGION OVER ANOTHER ONLY WHEN YOU
ARE STANDING ALONE IN THE MIDDLE OF
OF A ONE THOUSAND ACRE FIELD, AND
NO HUMAN OR ANIMAL IS WITHIN THAT
THOUSAND ACRES.
IT IS NOT OK IF ANYONE OR ANYTHING
JOINS YOU BY ONE INCH IN YOUR THOUSAND ACRE FIELD.
It is OK to "talk" politics when yelling at your T.V. set in the privacy of your own home (preferably when you're alone!)Other than that, I agree with everyone else! LOL Valid points, all!
I don't have a clue. If you pay for an ad and possibly disclose that a certain politician is not being truthful. You could lose your job over it. LOL. That's about all I know about the subject. ROFL. I really do HATE politics.
