I am going to be politically incorrect here, as I always am, and say FOOTBALL!

Least favorite part - when the game is over :-)

Actually for me it is the gathering of family and the special dishes that we fix that each family member likes and wants fixed. It is also certain dishes that we fix to honor and remember lost family.

What? I just got the e-mail and there are already 4 posts? sheesh! You guys are fast.

Favorite? Turkey sannies after! (with mayo on one side, butter on the other, whole grain bread and salt and pepper. oh yeah!

least favorite? Realizing I don't really like turkey soup and throwing that big old carcass away which I should be boiling down!

Least favorite parts: cooking, cleaning, the stressful ordeal and FOOTBALL!!!!! (Okay, so I would rather go OUT to eat on Thanksgiving, but I'm always overruled)

Favorite parts: cornbread dressing, watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and putting up my Christmas decorations.

Favorite part:Going around the table and verbalizing what each of us is Thankful for. And of course, the food:the glorious succulent Turkey with visions of Turkey sandwhiches, yummy Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing, glistening Cranberry Sauce,melt-in-your-mouth Kentucky Bourbon Sweet Potatoes,Sauteed Green Beans with Garlic....(wait...I need a moment) OK! I enjoy watching Football as well!

Least Favorite Part: Well, you've just spent hours making this delicious meal, it's consumed in under 30 minutes and then you face... THE KITCHEN! And no matter how hard you tried to keep it cleaned up as you went along, you know it's still a mess because "timing is everyting" and it gets very hectic at the end when you only have 1 oven! LOL And everyone else is laying about relaxing and you're in THE KITCHEN FROM HELL trying to store leftovers, clean up the dishes and thinking "Why didn't we just make reservations?!"

Here it goes, my favorite part is the cooking (stop laughing Bronco and Cin!!!) and serving. You know, I have that thing about doing something bid and comforting for my family. I like hearing what they have to say about being thankful too. If things are really good, the glow lasts through the dessert and coffee while we share fellowship.

Heck on that day, I tolerate the clean up.
