I plan to enjoy my Christmas holiday with my lovely wife and my wonderful in-laws. We had my family here for Thanksgiving and now I get to enjoy my wife's family for Christmas, which to me is one of the great bonuses of being married, aside from the bonuses I receive each and every day from being married to PATR.

Wow was that sappy! :-)

PEF - you are a sap, no doubt.

I plan on letting my family serve me hand and foot, which, as the King of my home, I deserve.

Humph Rant .... good luck with that!!

We have no big plans ... Robbie will be with his Grandparents and Father in Hillsboro ... so it will be Tom and me and the pets. I imagine we will make too much food and watch football.

I plan to start the day with a champagne cocktail of some sort ... or maybe a Bloody Mary ... or possibly a screwdriver ....

It will just be the three of us for Christmas Day (Chris, Hailie and me). C&C don't come until December 26th, so it should be a pretty easy, laid back day.

Libations and fritatas....sounds heavenly :)

I'll be making some killer pumpkin pecan pancakes for breakfast!

We usually have breakfast at our house, open gifts and then have a late afternoon dinner with my parents.

The Sunday before Christmas, we will be joining my cousins in North Richland Hills for a family gathering. I'm really looking forward to that party most of all. My company party is 12/8 and PEF's is 12/14, so the calendar is filling up quickly.

CIN - I'll be getting back to you on that casserole recipe...

It has become a delightful tradition to have our Family Celebration on Christmas Eve...also do our gift exchange before dinner...amazing how our 5 grands enjoy their dinner and visiting with everyone! After dinner we often play games..when we leave all is calm...all is bright!
Our daughter usually gives us a basket filled with fresh roast Christmas Blend coffee and some heaveningly baked goods and clever little gifts....best of all as we take out our goodies we find little notes everywhere from each of our wonderful family.

Probably just the kids and me alone. Will probably go to Dave's restaurant for lunch. Other than a quick trip to the coast and chillin' not doing much.
