Question #600 !!!!!

Christmas Gifts .... do you wrap only? Use gift bags? Wrap with ribbons and bows? Leave it in the Wal-Mart sack (but remember to take the receipt out)? Does everything coordinate and look pretty under the tree or do you use all kinds of things for a big jumble of color?

Every year before Thanksgiving we make our pilgrimage to the Container Store to buy our Christmas wrapping material. We alternate each year as to who picks out the wrapping material. Then we buy what we think we will need of wrapping paper, ribbon, bags, tissue etc. and it all has to coordinate or create a theme.

CAN YOU TELL WE ARE ANALYSTS?

But we have a great time every year.

I use a little bit of everything! I love ribbons and bows and as many different papers as I can find. I'll use gift bags for people other than my kids, but if I use them for my kids, I know they will peek into each one and know all of their gifts before Christmas even comes!

I love wrapping presents! It's one of my favorite things about Christmas.

Oh, I love gift wrap and all the trimmings! And I love wrapping the gifts. I got that from my mother. This year is a pet theme. We have dogs & cats on the gift bags and green paper on the packages. I have stamped paw prints and pet these items onto the green paper. It looks great!

Each year I think our gift wrap is better than the year before.

I do not purchase nor receive Christmas Presents. Christmas in my opinion was not intended for commercialism. It is to Celebrate in Spirit the virtual rebirth of Jesus Christ.

It has gotten to the point where IF the retail outlets do not perform as well financially as projected, which affects the retailers bottom line, the bunch of ninnies called Wall Street then kicks them between the legs by dogging their stock, thereby affecting ALL those who participate in the stock market. It's a double whammy.

I have tracked this phenom along time now, seems no-one hits their mark, so while we celebrate - Wall Street is devaluing our assets.

If you don't beleive me please research it for yourself.

It has simply become an excuse to affect our economy negatively. This is what Christmas has become for the majority of harworking Americans!

It's all a big jumble. I wrap in paper that I think fits the person. Each year depends upon my mood: ribbons, no ribbons, etc.

What ever we got the year prior at the 90% off sale for wrapping paper
