Dang ... see ... I select these questions .... then I have to answer them!! Why do I do this??
I think I would have to say I would have taken better care of the family farm. I would have paid more attention to it and learned more about what it took to operate it .... so that when my Dad and brother died I would have been in a position to step in and take it over from my Uncle.
Instead, he has run it into the ground ... and something that I thought would be in my family forever is now going to be lost by horrible mismanagement.
I definitely would have taken better care of myself, my family, my friends and my patients. I did my best but I wish I could have done more
Always seem to have regrets about not showing enough affection and caring because I was so busy with the hustle of life.
The older I get the more I look back and see "things" I should have or could have done differently.
BBBev...Bubble Girl
I would have taken better care of my relationships with my brothers. Over the last few years, there has been a loss of closeness with one brother, and a strain on the relationship with another brother. The good thing is, that my relationship with my third brother has improved!
I would also have made more of an effort to stay in tough with friends - many of my old friends have fallen by the wayside due to inattention on my part.
My brother...I wish I could have realized that he didn't need to be saved, or fixed, or rescued. Just loved.
I have to take three medications to get through the day now. I guess I would have taken better care of my body (such as it is). Now, I have to live with the consequences of living fast because I didn't die young!
My sister and I were just talking about this yesterday (cincin...do you believe it?) We both determined that we should have been working out, toning and keeping fit years ago. She's clued me in on things to expect from my ever-slowing metabolism...granted, she's 2 years older and a perpetual 20 lbs lighter...but she has wobbly bits too! I choose not to dwell on the should have's but on the am doing's...makes for a healthlier attitude all around!
My kids, my youth, my back!
My teeth...it is going to cost a bundle to get them "good" again!
Sorry CinCin-can't answer one thing here! LOL I too would have pushed to stay closer with my brothers after my Mom passed but that leads me to the second part. I would have NEVER gone camping in Elk Neck State Park in 1992 where I contracted Lyme Disease. My life took a drastic turn after that.
I would have paid a lot more attention to my kids when they were younger instead of remarrying after marriage failed and focusing so much on that relationship.
The simple answer is: my teeth.
Fear of dentists after a bad experience at 21 kept me away for too many years.
I am paying for that big time in money and health issues.
Just keeping my mouth reasonably healthy without making any real progress is costing me an arm and a leg.
The periodontist and dentist have put their kids through really good schools though!
i would have taken better care of my teeth, because now i am afraid of the drills in the dentist office.
My two lovely daughters. They turned out nice but how I wish I could do it over again
