What is the worst pain that you have ever experienced??
Women ... I assume you would say "childbirth" and you would be right .... so you get to pick another pain ... okay??

I've gone through childbirth without anesthesia--not a problem. Two broken ankles and knee surgury has taught me that bone pain is the worst. The pain does not register for almost a minute when you break something, but when it does, it's breathtaking. I couldn't move or even breathe because it hurt so much. Thank goodness for pain meds.
Other than emotional pain, the worst is a knee injury I had playing football. I was clipped - the cheater!! - and I had stretched ligaments and chipped cartilage.
Very painful.
MIGRAINES!
although I have to say a close second was after i stepped into the perfect size 9 hole in the yard that my sweet, adorable, innocent puppy dug at the bottom of the steps...sprained the inside and outside of my ankle...that was father's day and i still have trouble wearing heels!
Mouth pain...from teeth, gums, abcesses...whatever.
It's excruciating, you can't hold it and you don't get any sympathy.
A triple whammy!!

The worst pain.... hmmmm...
I was getting dental treatment after having broken my two front top row teath on a bike accident. There was a procedure called something like "endondonse" or such.. don't remember the name quite well. But in short: they drilled a hole right into my nerve canal and extracted the nerve. It was a LONG, and PAINFUL procedure. Even with anesthesia.
It hurts even remembering it.
getting a Novocain shot in my mouth. easy.
Worst Pain ever .... hmmmmm .... childbirth for sure .... but I made women pick another one ....
I have had dislocated knees before ... but I don't remember the pain ... all I know is I do not want that to happen ever again and go to lengths to avoid it.
Yesterday's pain ... whatever it was ... was nauseating, yell out loud pain .... and there has been an echo of that pain ever since ... and yes ... I am going to the Dr ... tomorrow.
physical or emotional? I am assuming by the answers it would be physical....hmmmm...falling down a 35 foot cliff and landing on the rocks on the bottom would probably have to top my list.
