No contest - In-N-Out Burger on both counts. Double, Double Animal Style is my favorite which equates to double meat, double cheese, with grilled onions, all the fixins and special sauce. I eat there everytime I go to Las Vegas. It is the nearest one to us. The chain only is in California, Arizona, Nevada and maybe New Mexico currently. Here is there menu:
Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double Hamburger or Cheeseburger.
Hand cut french fries, cut to order and fried.
Milkshakes and sodas. PERIOD!
No chicken this, and filet-o-fish that kinda crap. It's a burger joint and the best there is.
Not that I have any opinion on the matter,
Hands Down Whataburger. Either the double of the triple anything with cheese on it. I'm not a big fan of bacon , sauces -(aside from ketchup and mustard, etc. Seems there is a trend too reinvent the Burger, whereas I'm satisfied with the plain ole' burger with condiments.
Favorite Fast food Restaurant is Chick-fil-A.
I rarely eat at any of them, and that includes going through the drive through.
Wendy's because it's close but, otherwise, Applebee's makes a good cheeseburger. In 2007, I ate there more often than I should have.But 2008 is a new year with new eating habits!
Chick Fil A anyday. Great breakfast also.

What is your favorite Fast-Food Burger?? Actually I like McDonald's Jr Cheese Burger or the Quarter Pounder with Cheese but my favorite is Steak-N-Shake double with cheese. But alas, I have to go bunless now....

How often do you eat there?? We eat breakfast at McDonalds 5 to 6 times a week.
My very favorite burger joint is Kirkburgers---fresh ground steak daily and bakery buns----yummm good! The place is always busy but well worth the wait! Sorry only located in NorCal! Time to get down there pronto!
TGI Fridays is a favorite good menu plus they change menu with the seasons! We go there every month or so...
We really aren't much for the chains!

Ummm, well....I don't eat burgers and I don't really eat "fast food". I do eat the veggie burgers at Red Robin though and they are great! It's the closest thing to fast food burgers that I can think of!
I luff Outback burgers. I know most people don't consider that fast food. and it's not fast.. but I don't really LIKE any fast food places. I tolerate them.
Update: I had completely forgot about my 3 all time favorite burger joints and all DIETS and healthy eating plans are OFF if we stop at these places:
These are all old fashion drive-in's where you pull up in your car, turn your head lights on and the car hop will come out and take your order! I just LOVE 'EM!
1st place: Fat Boys Drive-in in Bruneswick Maine - you can watch seagulls trying to steal french fries while eating a very messy burger. They put REAL butter on the buns!
2nd place: Storm's Drive-in in the Texas Hill Country www.stormsrestaurants.com - get the onion rings
3rd place: Keller's Drive-in - 6537 East Northwest Highway Dallas, TX - Cold Beer, hot hand cut fries and greasy burgers! What more could you want?
