I was forced to get the Flu shot when in the Military. No chance of opting-out. The Flu shot is best for children and Senior Citizens. Besides the CDC can't keep up to speed on the latest Flu strains. By the time the flu vaccine comes out, it's behind the curve.
Doctor Mercola swears that the Flu shot gives you the flu, and besides it has mercury in it to preserve the vaccine. This mercury is the same mercury which is suspected in making kids autistic when given their first vacinations. They also use recombinant DNA to make the flu vaccines, and when you get a recombinant DNA shot, you are playing with your life.

I've had a flu shot. It's not bad. I have not had one this year. I should get one while I'm not sick. I had the flu about 4 years ago, and thought I was going to die. Had to go to the ER. Scary.
Didn't get one this year just because. Usually I do. Being diabetic, I've learned it's much better to stay healthy instead of trying to get back on my feet after a cold or flu. I've also had the pneumonia shot. I've not had the flu in probably 10 years or more. And I've not had the bronchial problems that I did before the pneumonia shot. Ok. So I'm a senior, Hugh. At some point in time, you gotta start taking care of yourself.

Okay - My regular dr told me NOT to bother with them. I always have the flu when I get one, so we decided it was best for me not to participate after 2006. It is funny you ask this question since I went to the Diabetic DR yesterday and he lectured me that I should get one and I lectured back and said "H... No I don't need it"...And I won out. I keep hoping that eventually they will stop pushing this thing on everyone.
Thanks Hugh for the link!
I haven't had a flu shot in several years .... haven't had the flu, either (knock on wood). I have gotten flu shots before without any adverse effects. And I did get the pneumonia shot several years ago and I am glad I did .... haven't had bronchial problems since then. I probably should at least get the pneumonia shot for Robbie ... every time he gets sick, it hits his lungs.
haven't had the flu in years, and havenever had a flu shot
