HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVEYONE
The only tale I have is that I was the youngest brat in our neighborhood so everyone took delight on Halloween in scaring the poo out of me. They would lure me to a vacant house or some area and then everyone jump out and chase me home. They would be wearing sheets, screaming like banshees and I was certain they were ghosts or demons and would eat me.
My sister and cousins loved this torture and each year they would think up something evil to do to me.
In our small town everyone always gave delightful treats...tried to outdo each other. LOL
I never liked Haunted Houses - I quess because of my childhood haunting days from the kids.
I remember Trick-or-Treating in Illinois ... in the snow ... we had to wear our costumes OVER our winter coats ... sometimes that didn't work so well ... ballerinas looked pretty chuncky and lumpy ...
I don't remember any really bad treats, although I hated getting the religious tracts .... whatever ...
I don't like haunted houses ... I have a crummy sense of balance and I was always afraid of mis-stepping or being put off balance and going all the way down ... big fear for me ... especially with bad knees on top of the poor sense of balance ...

'SOAPED' PEOPLES WINDOWS, WE USUALLY GOT CAUGHT AND HAD TO WASH THE WINDOW. NUTS TO HALLOEEN!!!!!!!

Happy Halloween! I've got a scary tale! Did you hear about the Mischief Night Game between the Broncos and the Eagles? Makes me shiver just thinking about it! LOL
My favorite costume was the one I made with my Mom one year when I was a Japanese Geisha. We had fun putting it together from things we had at home!Another favorite was the time I dressed up as a "little girl" when I was 19 and we went to a party! That was fun! And the time I won a prize for my "Conehead Costume" but it was purchased.
Well it wasn't the "worst" treat but it wasn't my favorite and it did show lack of imagination and stinginess: those teeny boxes of raisins....not even the big ones! Why do they call them the "Fun Size" How much fun can 5 raisins or .3oz of chocolate be?
I like to go to Haunted Houses that DO NOT have huge hairy spiders in them! Even if they are "make believe"! I don't like arachnids! Otherwise, I like to go with my hubby and be scared and have him "protect me". It's a throw back to the teenage years! What can I say...I'm a hopeless romantic...as long as there are NO SPIDERS!
