So far, summer has been like any other season, only hotter.
The fun started next week, when the vacation starts. Headed to Alabama for a nephew's wedding reception - he got married when he was home on leave from Iraq last August, now he is home and the party is the 15th. Then into the Smoky Mountains for a few days.
It's summer? I must have missed the Memo! Or rather, Mother Nature must have missed the Memo! LOL I'm having loads of fun waiting for the ground to dry out enough so I can get my new Septic Tank installed! (It's like watching paint drying!LOL) I must admit, it is a tad thrilling not knowing if the next "flush" will be your last or not! It's like living life on the "Razor's Edge", ya know? But hey, it could be worse! I'm really not complaining....just "venting".
I feel better now! Thanks! LOL
I wish.....I have been otta da "Bubble" a lot more this summer but no traveling and no still boating because of Red Tide lingering around in places.
Doc still wants me to keep away from crowds. Not even the Mooooofie. Grrrrrr
I did go to the Fireworks but we did not stay a long time. That was fun to have a little picnic and wine with friends and I am okay.
BUT my summer is just great with my darling DH and mean Angie. LOL They are all I need to make me happy.

Summer? It's summer? We never had spring...rain and cold and then Bam! right to hot and dry. Work has been such that I won't be doing much this summer, except running. Ask me again sometime in October, ok?

I have been having lots of fun this summer... swimming... using the computer... riding my bike... the goods. :)
Everyday of my life is fun!!
I did have a nice visit with Family in Illinois and Robbie really had a nice time visiting woth his cousins.
Next week we head to Abalama to spend time with Tom's family ... and that will be nice also!
1st part of June was WONDERFUL! Had family here from Maine and we had a blast. Last part of June was filled with work, but July thus far has been a little disappointing/stressful. But hey, tomorrow is another day!!!
How long until it cools off though?
Summer has been filled with work. Mom had surgury, but is doing well now. I'm glad of that. Love her bunches, but in small doses right now. The kids are good. I'm still trying to get my act together. Heading out on Sunday to MOnserrat. Visiting friends and soaking up the sun. Hoping for some clarity.
