Question #263

From "The KIDs Book of Questions" by Gregory Stock Ph.D.

Adults can do more but have more responsibilities; children can play more but are often told what to do. Do you think kids or adults have a better deal?

Neither have the better deal. Teenager is the place to be. You can still play like a kid without any responsibilities, you know more than your parents or any other adult and you co do adult things provided no one catches and even if they do, your a teenager, so how much trouble can you really get in. Besides spankings no longer hurt....

LOL Good One. Difficult to answer.
I do not like to be told what to do so I will say Adults have the better deal.
Adults can play, too.

Kids (includes teenagers) - nothing to do but go to school, whine to your parents about chores, play with your friends.

I think each age has its pitfalls. Being a kid seems like it would be easier--not knowing what is in the future.

I would say kids, without a doubt, except for one major problem -- the kids still have adulthood to go through. I like where I'm at right now and considering I'm unemployed I must nuts. LOL
