Well, what is the definition of generous?
Time, money, prayers, listening to others, experience, advice, etc. etc.
I try to be generous to others in some small way every day. Strangers or acquaintances alike.

Hmmmm .... I once went out and bought Gatorade and MacDonalds for a begging family while I was on Vacation in Colorado.

I don't believe in just handing beggers money.

I will also tell strangers if something is amiss ... like "you are dropping things out of your purse" .... or ... "your slip is showing" ....

Things like that ...

Other than common courtesies - such as opening doors, allowing someone to move ahead in line - I cannot remember.

On the first of my four flights to get home, I picked up something dropped by the guy in front of me and gave it to him. I also strapped a strange child into her seat belt.

That's about it.
