I'm not sure what the official high was yesterday, but it was 109 when I left the grocery store yesterday afternoon. Today is predicted to be even hotter than yesterday.

Tuesday it reached 99 degrees (with nearly the same % humidity). Now I know you people from the South are probably laughing at that but I'm from the Northeast! It did cool down to around 89 degrees after the sudden and horriffic thunderstorm with torrential downpours, local flooding, hail, 70 mile an hour winds that uprooted trees onto houses and cars, caused 2 deaths and left 300,000 homes without power. (SH and I watched a Transformer burn and watched the tree burn as well while waiting for 911 to pick up!) I am one of the lucky ones and have now been restored. (YAY!)It was hot yesterday as well. I don't mind the heat...it's the humidity that gets to me! Currently,(11:31a.m. EDT, it's 87 degrees. WOO HOO!

I AM IN THE RH BOAT.... TEMP IS IN
THE 90'S. NO BIG PROBLEM, ANOTHER
WEEK OF IT AND I CAN START TO FORGET HOW COLD I WAS LAST WINTER.
IT'S THE HUMIDDITY THAT IS NASTY!!
IT MAKES THE EMPHASEMA PERFORM.
MAYBE SOME COLD AIR-STORMS ETC COMING AND
THEN WARM UP AGAIN. MAYBE I SHOULD
HEAD FOR TEXAS OR SOME SUCH....HOT
AND DRY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had been in the 90's here but we have had rain and storms for the past three days and have had moderate weather for a change.
