Board Games - Favorite Board Games are Battleship (Hey, I am Navy man what do you expect!), Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Chess (though I haven't played it in years).
I like most board games and card games. Particularily fond of cribbage and Scrabble.
My wife and I used to visit my Mom (when she was still with us) on Saturdays and play scrabble and drink champagne. We had some great afternoons of laughter and scrabble cheating.
both! oh the fun. I'm a cribbage addict and currently have no one to play cards with. Our family are great 'players' (I mean that in a good way). We laugh, we are dramatic, we scream when we play board games. Our current fave is cranium, but my sis has promised a new one that we will love for our family reunion.
My parents, both now gone, played the best 2 out of 3 games of cribbage almost every morning they were together. It was a ritual and makes me smile thinking of the gentle ribbing they gave each other during and after the games.
Probably board games because I can interact with some one else. Favorite: Backgammon (have not played in years), checkers, trivial pursuit, keno. I love them all though.
Domino's is also very high on the list.... would you consider this a 'board less' board game?
My favorite card games are solitaire, spider solitaire and rummy.
Have a Great Great Trip.
I really do not care much for either one.
I would rather read.
Loner - I quess.
I prefer board games... they tend to be more fun than card games in my opinion. I like imaginiff and apples t apples.
I like board games better. I loose poorly at card games.
BEV IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK. DID PLAY
AN AWFUL LOT OF CHECKERS IN THE
NAVY BUT BOTH ARE A WASTE OF TIME.
A NAP BEATS THEM BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Board games are easier for me and therefore my preference. People devise weird card games that I often can't follow, and I'm not a good card player anyway. My favorites are Trivial Pursuit, and lately I have been introduced to a board game which uses marbles called "wahoo!". Whenever people watch a 'wahoo' game they often call it a variation of chinese marbles.
I like both. Used to play both a lot. Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Risk, Battleship, Dark Tower, Backgammon. Rummy, Canasta, Screw Your Neigbor, Hearts, and Poker were favorite card games...and Uno and Go Fish with the kids. LOL Once in a while we'll break out "Scene It"... and play it but most often the kids are off doing someting and hubby is working and I'm not much of a Solitaire player. LOL
Have fun on your trip guys!
Board games - I love Monopoly and Life.
Hugh, you have been playing Wahoo!?!?! My father built a Wahoo board as a first anniversary gift to my mother 50 years ago. That is a great game.
Board games mostly although I do love to play Spades and Hearts. Monopoly is probably my favorite board game although it takes forever. Clue is another favorite.
