Dec. 21 was the longest night "dark" of the year ... do you feel yourself affected by the length of daylight vs dark ??

If so, how?

Nope. I take them as they come and I am damn glad they come.

Well, I must say, it was 'darker than the inside of a goat' the last couple of nights, so I did notice, but I don't think it is bothering me... But hey, we live in Texas where we have 4 seasons: Hot, Hotter, Hot as Hades and Comfortable (2 weeks at the most)

How dark is that, and when were you inside a goat?

Tonight's weather - dark, with scattered light toward morning.

I do feel affected by the length of daylight vs darkness ... and it especially pulls on me in Jaunary and Feb. and March ...

Robbie got me a reading lamp with Natural lighting ... which I hope will help some.

I also need to get out in daylight and expose skin to what sun there is! Yikes ... that might even involve some form of exercise!! Yikes!!

Yes - cabin fever - don't really want to do anything, etc.

Used to feel that icky blah way, but no more. I'm good night or day. Light or dark.

I like the long nights myself. I'm productive as far as getting things done in the house. I'm a night-time person and am actually more energetic after dark than during daylight.

That's the way Totsie! I once was lost but now I am found.....

CinCin - Lounging in a lawn chair outside in the sun involves very little exercise, consult Bronco for directions

Bronco, I posed that question to a 4 year old the first time PEF said that. The response: "very very dark"

Yes I am affected by the length daylight vs. dark. I don't like it when it's gets dark early and do not like the cold. I really feel my moods change. I've tried the "lamps" but didn't notice much of a change. I just have to power through the winter and wait until we can retire in sunny California! LOL
