By far the best thing I have used to dry up my sinuses is ALEVE COLD AND SINUS .... one pill every 12 hours ... it is amazing!!

I also found blackberry brandy to be helpful when I had a cold once.

And homemade chicken soup!!

I use nasal spray to relieve the congestion at night so I can sleep. That is about all.

My wife believes in Aleve cold & sinus, which I used for my last cold - and it was OK. She is right about things more often that I like to admit.

SALT WATER UP THE NOSE. FIRST HEARD OF IT AS A TEASPOON TO A CUP OF WARM WATER. WORKED GOOD. THE NEXT
COLD , A YEAR LATER I SAID TO GUMDROP THAT WORKED PRETTY GOOD.SO
WHY NOT A HEAPING SPOON OF SALT AND
1/2 CUP OF WATER. HOOOOOOOEEEEEEE
WHEN THAT HIT THE OL' SINUSES IT
ALMOST LIFTED THE WHOLE FRONT OF MY FACE OFF. COUPLE YEARS LATER I HAD
A COLD AND HEARD THE SALT WATER DEAL
IS AVAILABLE IN THE GROCERY STORE.
A DROPPER PLASTIC BOTTLE COSTS A PITTANCE AND IT IS .65% SODIUM CHLORIDE [ALIAS SALT] DRIES THE OL'
SINUS UP AND THAT IS 95% OF A COLDS
MISERY. COUPLE ASPRIN AN GOOD "HOT"
SOAK IN THE TUB AND THE COLD IS GONE
IF YOU STAY IN BED AFTER THE HOT SOAK.
IT MUST HAVE GIVEN ME AN IMMUNITY,
HAVEN'T HAD A COLD IN YEARS.
[COURSE I DONT GO OUT AS MUCH ANYMORE TO THE PLACES PEOPLE GO TO SPREAD THEIR COLD]
