For Tom .... I would. 'Course, I would prefer it to be an English speaking country ... like Scotland (hint, hint) ...
The internet makes seeing friends and family a lot easier ... web-cams and emails and message boards and blogs can help people stay in touch if they really want to.
My family is already forever and a day away ... Illinois and Australia ....
My friends, those I have left, would probably love to have a reason to travel to see us!!
So ... yes I would.
I sure would - for Cindy, anything.
Cindy is right about being able to stay connected these days.
BUT, if I go live overseas for Cindy, she better be making LOTS OF MONEY!
Oh very tough question that PEF & I wrangle quite a bit. We want to live in Maine (yes, they have Winter's there, but I can live with that to get out of this HEAT) But yet, there are no jobs for us and I worry so about my parents. There are very few people that could help them, and yes, I admit it, I need them. They are 75 and 70, and I know someday the tables will reverse and they will physically need me and PEF here. So, to answer the question, probably not and I hope that the person I love dearly understands.
I would gladly do that for Pat, especially since I would love living overseas.
I do understand and its important for me and Pat to stay in Texas right now and travel as much as we can.
If I truly and deeply loved this person...in a heartbeat!!
Not everyone gets the chance to travel abroad and see the sights of the world.
Family and friends are only a call or email away.
