I prefer the company of men, however some of my best friends are women. So overall I can be friends with both.

I prefer the company of really interesting, intelligent people the sex, race, creed, national origin of which is unimportant to me. I like being around people I can learn things from and with whom I can share my experiences.

In my life I have always tended to gravitate towards people who are either younger than I am or older than I am. I think you gain perspective this way.

When I was a lot younger, I prefered the company of men. Women always seemed so childish and ... well .... "catty"!!

Now I find that I enjoy the company of women ... but only women who are secure in themselves. I don't have time for women who have to put others down to feel good about themselves. That doesn't mean my female friends can't have problems of their own ... all of us do ... but if you get high off of bad-mouthing others GO AWAY!!

Overall .... I like the company of people!!

Ditto Cin. I used to perfer men...at least until they let sex into the conversation, then I went to speak with women. Now I guess I pick and choose the men and the women. I look for quality.

I prefer people. But I suppose if I must choose, as I've matured, I seem to click more with women.

Well, to be honest I do enjoy the company of FINE EXTREMELY GOOD LOOKING MEN much better than women. But I must say, I have a good balance of both male and female friends. My male friends think of me as one of the 'guys' because I'm not the typical woman. It comes from working and living in a mans world for so long... But hey, when the Rowdy Rita's get together, I can giggle right along with them.

I have to say I would be lost without a mix of both male and female friends. life would seem one side. I think I grew by what I learn from both sexes.
