Q #26
Would you be willing to murder and innocent person if it would end hunger in the world?
Bonus Q .... Many are willing to give their own lives but not to take a life of another; is anything so important you would sacrifice your very soul for it?

No. By ending hunger, we would probably create some other problem like massive world obesity, global warming along with the meling of the polar ice cap and massive sewage issues that, also contribute to global warming.
I would sacrfice myslef if it was necessary to save someone I loved. I would give PEF my life just as I'm sure he would for me.
Not for hunger. Hunger isn't the worst thing in the world. Evil is in there as a chart topper. It's responsible for much of the hunger. I would contemplate the trading of one innocent for the betterment of all mankind.

I would not murder someone to stop world hunger. This question of morality is specious. Murder is definitely a moral no-no (not to say a legal no-no), whereas hunger is ambiguous - define hunger exactly. Not enough to eat? Starving?. There is currently enough food produced in the world to feed everyone - it is a matter of distribution of the food. Many countries with starving or hungry people have governments who keep the food away from groups of people for political reasons - or to steal it, sell it and line their own pockets. Them I might kill.
Would I give my life for another - for my loved one you bet, in a minute, no question about it.
Define innocent, because after all the person I would be murdering would be a human being who eats and therefore is contributing to world hunger. Kinda a new perspective isn't it?
No I would not commit murder for such a cause. Of course isn't that what war is, murder for a cause or purpose?
Hmmmmmmm
I doubt that I could bring myself to murder anyone for any reason, short of saving the life of a loved one. I agree that there are so many problems in the world, that solving one may only lead to the creation or growth of another.
I would sacrifice my soul and anything else that was asked of me if it meant that my husband and my daughter were safe and alive.
I would not end hunger by killing someone.
If like the movie the 'Dead Zone" I knew of the next Adolf Hitler, et al, yes I would do what I could to remove that person.
I was in the military, and although most service people really don't want to die, I was willing to sacrifice my life to protect America. With the present state of affairs in our country which are to numerous to write here, I'm glad I didn't, especially when I view teenager behavior these days.
I studied martial arts as a kid and well into my 30's. I do not practice it anymore, however if agressed where the intent of the attacker is to do me GBH, I'll take em' out. You know, kill or be killed. Word-up, kill me with the first shot, because if I get up, I'll take you with me.
If I am lucky enough to marry, I would sacrifice myself for my wife or kids. This is just naturally programmed into most humans.
I couldn't do it.Killing would be sacrifice of my soul. My life; I could. It better be a darn good reason though.
Wouldn't murder anyone. Hunger is. I choose not to risk my soul.
i would have to agree...there are many more evils out there than hunger...murdering for hunger makes no sense...to rid the world of terrorism, maybe.
