Question #700!!


What topics from your good ol' high school / college days do you wish you knew more about today? What do you do to try to gain that knowledge now?

I wish I knew more History and Geography ... and knew it well!!

I am reading ... and watching TLC and Discovery and THC and listening to Tom and looking up stuff online ....

I don't know that a college course would help as I always found the teachers BORING!!

To be very frank it would be math for me. As evidenced by my mistake yesterday, I have never had a great confidence in math, especially since most teachers I had just expected you to know how to answer the problems, but could rarily explain effectively how to solve the problems so I could learn the methods. I have a very analytical mind and I can't believe that with the right level of understanding I could not learn math but it does not come natural to me.

I wish I had learned a musical instrument (vs drums) in band.

To sing

Proper grammer, a foreign language and SPELLING!

I do take communicication refreshers, but I have a mental block to it.

Now the classes I miss: History, Accounting, Math, Band, Sciences....Those were fun. I even enjoy literature once in college, but in HS, I hated it along with History. One of the coach's always taught the history and literture classes.
