We had a great weekend, beginning on Friday taking bridal portraits for a friend of my wife's daughter who is getting married in August. We took pictures at Chandor Gardens in Weatherford. Then Saturday we went down and stayed in the Iron Horse Inn in Granbury, which we both recommend highly. Great experience, excellent breakfast. Only complaint was the bed was not designed for "big" folk. We then went Sunday on down to Proctor, TX for the annual Texas Swing Party sponsored by another friend of my wife's. She has good friends. :-)
Quiet weekend. Concert on Friday night. Wonderful group. Parrothead meeting on Saturday. Quiet Sunday. Nice. Gearing up for graduation activities...
I'm EXHAUSTED from the weekend! We burned the candel from both ends but a good time was had by all, and yes, I do have some very cool friends.
And yes, it was BRIGHT out last night. I may go out with the beagles and bay a little tonight.
Friday night - Home the entire evening working on indoor stuff, taxes, trying to burn a DVD copy of Dad's borthday party.
Saturday - Breakfast early in Garland, then home all day taking care of outdoor issues, and then worked on taxes and tried again to get 'roxio' (Just think crappy DVD copy software) to cooperate. Thought of Ya'll at Wildflower.
Sunday - Church, lunch and same ole - same ole' at home. Caught sunset at Winfrey point and photographed Dallas at a distance in the dark.
Had a great weekend! Got lots done around the house and spent Saturday evening with family and friends at the Wildflower festival in Richardson. Beautiful night and great music, not to mention some pretty cool people :)
