Of course, that being said, I do hate the wars and crimes committed in the name of Religion.

You know what? If God had really wanted it that way, he would have created it that way!! But nooooooo .... she went and gave us "Free Will" ...
I do wish there weren't so many wars fought over religion .... clearly SOMEBODY thinks they need to tell everyone what religion to be .... but if we all were one religion ... then wars would be fought over Race ... or Land ... or hair color ... or something .... it is always something.
I love studying all the religions and would love to take a good Comparative Religion course sometime ....
You know I think that would be a fascinating course for the four of us to take together, but then I have a very sick, warped sense of fun.
I believe in a creative force or creator, call it God or whatever term works for you. I believe there are forces of good and evil in each and every one of us and civility and morality is how we keep them in check. But I believe religion in all its forms is a device of man. A very valuable device that provides hope and guidance but in the end it still is something that we created to explain what we didnt create and could not understand. It should be no surprise to anyone that we should have many different ways and methods (i.e. religions) that we created to explain these things.
