that seems like an easy one. you must have respect for both if it is earned.

Children - they will choose your nursing home someday.
If I had children, the respect of both my children and my parents would be very important to me. However, the real measuring stick is whether you respect yourself. Can I live with myself?
no fair - my parents are dead!
Wellll .... Patr has a good point!!
I do know that I spent my entire childhood trying to keep my parents proud of me .... but I don'tknow that they ever "respected" me.
I don't know that I ever cared about if people "respect" me or not.
I do know that I care that my son respects my opinion ... but I also want him to form his own opinions ..... and I think I was raised the same way ...
KIDS! It is honest coming from children, selfish coming from adults.
