If it really is ridiculous, then I deserve to be laughed at, and I don't mind.
Of course, I never do anything ridiculous.
Yeah, sure Bronco, keep telling yourself that...
If I do something that out in left field, I deserve to laugh at myself and to have people laugh at me. Only recently have I come out of my "spaz" stage, so I do sink back into it sometimes. We're all ridiculous at some point, so why not laugh and let other's laugh. If we take ourselves too seriously we completely loose what grace we could have salvaged.
Well, if I walk into a tree or trip on air...laugh all ya want. If I say something dumb, laugh please! If I fall, take me to the hospital, laugh and I'll kick your butt. :)
considering i am usually the first one to start laughing, i'd hope everyone else will laugh along.
i spend a lot of time laughing at myself...
Ahhh Bronco! You crack me up sweetie! I luffs you and your wife!
Years and years ago,it would have bothered my tender and delicate ego. But I think once a woman goes through childbirth, NOTHING after that seems ridiculous! (I mean you tend to lose all sense of modesty!)And some people have honed the "prat fall" into a fine art and make nice a living at it! And they say Jane Mansfield wasn't really that dumb at all and she made quite a pretty penny from people laughing at her as does Jessica Simpson. I love to make people laugh and it makes for great stories later! Laughter is the best medicine!
NOT SURE ABOUT THE YOUNGER GENERATION....LAST WEEK IT WAS "MAKING A MISTAKE" NOW IT IS
"BEING RIDICULOUS" @ LEAST THIS TIME BRONCO CAUGHT THE BALL WITH HIS/HER ENDING STATEMENT.
FROM PQ: "YOU CAN LECTURE FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT,SINCE WHEN
YOU DO NO ALGEBRA IS TRANSMITTED."
DOES THAT HOLD TRUE CIN??????
Laugh all you want.......just don't make a meal out of it!!
It used to bother me a whole lot ... I usually wanted to DIE from embarrassment ... but now I am much more relaxed about such things ... although I agree with LaTinkerbell .... if I'm hurt, you better help!!
