Wednesday, April 30, 1997 - let's see: I was married to another person....living in Haltom City Texas.....working for Justin Industries as the Accounting Manager.....working on an Enterprise Software selection team...and preparing for the what would become a life altering experience that....put me on a new career path, prepared me for divorce and led me to PEF.

I was working for a mortgage company in Maryland, living in the little town of Boonsboro (near Antietam National Battlefield) in a great two bedroom house I was renting, pretty content in my life or so I thought. In a few scant weeks I was to get a phone call that changed my life. I was offered an internal transfer with the company all expenses paid to come to Dallas to help lead a software implementation. Prior to departing Maryland, I moved my folks back up to Maine, then headed for Texas into a job I would eventually be fired from, wherein I would meet my wife after we both fired the same person that introduced us.

end of April 1997 - I was living in Dallas, not married, working as an IT consultant.

So, everything has changed. I have a new home, a wonderful wife, and a new career (anyone need a mortgage?) I even have a dog.

April 30th, 1997 - I was working at a different Telecommunications company. Life was about to throw me another knuckle ball. I was engaged to be married. By all accounts all was going O.K. at this time in 97', however by the end of the Summer of 97' she had become pregnant, and then miscarriaged. I ceased to know this person in the sense that an entirely different
person/personality emerged while she was pregnant. There were additional pressures such as her two adolescent kids from her prior marriage that she all but refused to discipline. The last link was the pregnancy. After misscariage I no longer desired to pursue a relationship with her.

End of April 2007 .... WOW ... I had pretty much hit rock bottom. My 2nd husband had left me for a teacher I worked with daily.

I came home one day to find that the landlord had torn down the Privacy fence around my big yard and suddenly everyone on Corporate Dr. had an open view into my home.

I had to file bankruptcy due to an overwhelming debt-to-income ratio ... my 2nd husband had lived well off my kindnesses for years ...

AND ... all the people I really liked at work were either retiring or moving to a new school. I was invited to the new school but would have had to pass through one teacher's classroom to get to my classroom ... and didn't want to deal with that.

But ..... the divorce went through quickly ... and I started tutoring at night to raise extra money ... and I got a really cool job working with At-Risk kids .... and got a computer and began my online adventures ...

Life is very different now! I have a great hubby and a great home and a wonderful 17 year old son ... and I work for myself!!

I honestly don't remember! I hadn't yet been diagnosed with Lyme Disease (that I'd had for 5 yrs already) so I was probably walking around in a daze, trying to remember to pick the kids up from school and find my way around my ranch house! Glad I can laugh about it now!
