Q #64
You and a person you love deeply are placed in separate rooms with a button next to each of you. You know that you will both be killed unless one of you presses your button before 60 minutes pass; furthermore, the first person to press the button will save the life of the other person, but will immediately be killed.
What do you think you would do?

I hate this question, by the way.
Oh I hate it TOO!!! I would press my button as SOON as I could reach it!!!!! Of course, what difference would it make really....if people are demented enough to set up this kind of room, they will probably kill both of you anyway....So maybe I wouldn't that way my loved one could go quickly and I would be the one to suffer a longer demise.... Oh what a terrible dilemma.
I would press the button. I love my wife enough to die for her.
Press the button.
UGH! (I hate these questions too!) I would press the button first. I could not stand by and let my hubby be killed. Plus, most of the time, I feel I'm not contributing much to society anyway.....
Show me the button, because I'm going to press it. Plain and simple
This is a question that has only one answer and it will result in the death of both people because anyone evil enough to set something like this up knows that if you both love each other, you both will press the button first and most likely simultaneously so in the end the 60 seconds is irrevelent. Of course, if it were Pat and I in the situation and I had the chance to talk with her, I would tell her not to press the button and I wouldn't either and I WOULD MAKE THEM KILL US.
