Q #66
Do you feel that advice from older people carries a special weight because of their experience?
Just things I wonder about ... and some people are nice enough to answer. You are welcome to answer, too ... just click on "Comments" and off you go! IF you don't want to be Anonymous, use the Name/URL option and just put in your name ... no URL required .... Starting Jan 28th, 2009, I am using questions from "Table Topics: Right or Wrong?"

Yes as long as those older people aren't my parents. Only kidding.... Actually I give it the proper weight in context.
it depends on the person and the experience. Just because someone is older does not mean they have pearned from their experiences
It depends on the advice, person and the subject matter.
Yes - our senior citizens are a goldmine of oral history and ageless wisdom. My parents don't know how and do not desire a computer, yet they have done so very well for themselves thus far.
