Tough spot to be in.... I lived there for over a year.

I just let the time bide until there were enough errors/mistakes (a million dollar one too) happened so that the decision was out of my hands... There was ample cause.....

Now, prior to the 'wronged' event, I was covering for that same person. I was between a rock and a hard place... the person couldn't do the job, but yet how do you fire a person you consider a friend?

Never be friends with people who work for you.... You can be friendly, but not friends....I have a hard time not crossing that line even now.

If the person is cheating or stealing or otherwise engaging in unethiical or illegal behavior, you bet I wojuld get them fired.

Otherwise, I would just beat the crap out of them.

Wow .... tough one ... they would have to be displaying incompetence which everyone could see and have lots of documentation showing efforts to help the person fix their incompetent ways.

I certainly am not fond of incompetence and regardless of whether they wronged me ... they would have to go.

In my experience people like this usually get hoisted by their own pretard, not that I would warn them they were getting close to this or anything. I would not take any overt action, especially when covert works.....

Depends on the severity of the wrong they did. I'm the turn the other cheek kind of a person so if they didn't kill a family member of mine or something i wouldn't get them fired.
