I do not think anything a friend would say in thisregard would be much of a surprise to me, so they can go ahead and be honest

I think that a true friend would not have to be asked--they just do it. Because they're friends, they do it in a way not to hurt, but to be constructive, or they leave issues alone.

Good Morning All,
Yes, I would like my best friend to tell me exactly what they liked most and what they liked least about me.
I have best friend of 35
years, thru Grade school and up, College and shared an apartment together after graduation.
She tells me what she likes and dislikes about me all the time since childhood. Tells me when I am wrong and when I am right. I do the same about her. We dearly love each other - just like sisters.
We are opposites so we have a lot of things we dislike about each other, but when we tell it like it is, then we work out a compromise.

It depends upon what you consider a friend. If they are a true friend, you're beyond that already. If they are occasional drinking buddies it really doesn't matter because they do not know you well enough to do so anyway.

What do you mean "want them to"...Mine already do!

Absolutely - honest feedback si the best so long as they don't have an agenda.
