If I was financially independent, I would build a beach house back home in Florida and go back to college and get a few more degrees. I just love being in school. I am such a NERD!!!
I would build my retirement house and learn to fly. Play more golf, buy a boat and learn to fish. I'd live a quite life of solitude until I turned on the 2000 Watt stereo!
Gumdrop,
I was glad to shuck my first husband. Of course, if I had waited another six months, I could have been a widow and saved money from a divorce. That being said, I have been so lucky. I've truely met my soulmate. He's kind, loving, funny--all I could ever want in a mate. I think Brono feels the same about Cindy.
I would do some sort of work. I would also relocate to several places for different reasons: New York for theater; Austin, because it's where I grew up; The Isle of Wite (sic), just because; the beach, just because.
I love to teach. I've been a teacher for 20 years and can't see not doing it. I know I would cut back to maybe private tutoring, but I would still do it. Hedonism doesn't fit me.
THANKS TO A BROTHER AND SISTER WHO
DILIGENTLY SAVED THEIR MONEY AND

(I should preface this by saying that I only work Part-time now, to help my hubby's business.) If I was financially independent,I doubt that I would work. (I would probably consider volunteer work at some point, once the novelty of being wealthy wore off, as I do enjoy helping others.)I would travel and meet friends that I've grown close with on-line, make improvements to my house (bigger with more storage space),make sure my hubby got to spend time in Micronesia, foster my kid's dreams, foster my dreams, my hubby's dreams, etc. Heck...why work if the money is there? LOL Now, I'm sure my husband would aswer this differently, as he is a bit of a workaholic and loves what he does...most of the time! LOL Glad he doesn't read or answer your Blog Cin, because he hates it when I accuse him of being a workaholic! He's sensitive!
GUMDROP ADD-ON:
TOTSIE ET.AL WHEN YOU HIT THE BIG
80 SAY ALL THAT STUFF AGAIN!!!!!!!
I would work, but it would be doing whatever I want to do, not necessarily what I am doing now.
No, I wouldn't work, now way! I would just do whatever I wanted to do. I would travel and visit people I wanted to, read, and just relax and enjoy life.
