I liked them all, but math was propobably tops. I use math and english daily, but I try to keep up with my history reading and with what is happening with science.

I liked Math, English, Science ... never had a very good History teacher.

In my day-to-day life I use Math as it is my profession ... I use English on the computer (but not in its best form sometimes ... sorry!) .... I don't use a lot of science, but I love to read about it and I love Particle Physics ... isn't that odd?

Easy one, science. I loved making the reports with the pictures of the cells.

English, English, English.
I was never lucky enough to have a Math teacher like our CinCin and that class was always dreaded. Partly because of my Math antipathy, I also disliked Chemistry and Physics.
History was only as good as the Teacher....it needs to come alive for me as I am a very literal person..
but I LOVED English classes...

IN HIGH SCHOOL:
MOST CERTAINLY NONE OF THE ABOVE.
ALL THE TEACHERS IN THOSE SUBJECTS
HAD BEEN IN THE SYSTEM FOR YEARS.
PROBABLY DUE TO THE DEPRESSION THEY
DREW MINIMUM PAY AND JUST STAYED,
NEVER ATTEMPTING TO IMPROVE.
MY BEST COURSE WAS WOODWORKING. USED IT ALL THE TIME, PARTICULARLY
AFTER WE BOUGHT OUR OLD HOUSE AFTER
I STUPIDLY GOT MARRIED.
NEVER USE IT TODAY, LIVE ALONE IN AN APARTMENT. DO ALOT OF READING AND 'SURFING' NOW, MAKE UP FOR THE
OLDEN SCHOOL DAYS.

I Loved English! I was fortunate to have had fantastic teachers all four years. I hated Algebra 3/4 of Freshman year but then I had that "light bulb moment" and loved it the remainder of the year and ln Junior year. I liked Biology a lot as well, but that probably had to do more with the teacher. Mr. Dunn was very laid back and enjoyed taking the class out to the park for "field trips"! LOL

English is, of course used in my Day-to-Day life as well as math, and to some extent Biology. I like to read about Science and I am married to a man who ALWAYS watches the History channel! LOL

History and English.

I excelled at History, but do not use it for my work at all. Only when conversing about history would this come into play. I sucked at Math and English, but did great at Physics despite the Math obstacle since I could quantify the problem using math. Solving math puzzles for the sake of solving math puzzles for me is boring. Give me an application to investigate or solve, hence engineering!

Cindy - care to discuss the mystery of the missing neutrino's?

No doubt about it -- Math. It's the only subject I could get A's in. hehe. Since I'm an accountant, yea, I guess you could say I use it in my day to day life. How could anyone get by in life without math for that matter?

Hey Mrs. Mack, long time no see! I'd have to say History(sorry). Its always interesting to learn about our past and the extremes people go to over ideals and believes, my favorite time period was WW1 and WW2. Do I use them today? Not really but its still good to know.

I meant to say beliefs, not believes by the way =)
